Overcoming a 15-point deficit and using a 9-0 run to tie the game late in the fourth quarter of Friday’s loss, the Mavericks (6-20) would then fall victim to Jazz guard Rodney Hood’s game-winning three-pointer with .8 ticks remaining on the game clock before failing to get a shot up at the other end. The Mavs will now attempt to bounce back Sunday at home, hosting the Sacramento Kings for a second time this season in a matinee matchup. And after displaying plenty of fight during their last loss, Mavs coach Rick Carlisle and leading scorer Harrison Barnes hope the team can match that effort at home before venturing out for four straight road games.
