Game 25: Mavs vs. Pistons

DALLAS — Hoping to follow up one of their most dominant victories of the season with a similar performance Wednesday night, the Dallas Mavericks will return to their home floor with a chance to build momentum before playing five of the next six outings on the road.

Sprinting to a 112-92 victory at home Monday night over Denver, the Mavericks (6-18) built up a season-high 28-point lead en route to the win. The Mavs also produced their highest-scoring half of the season when they took a 65-43 advantage into the intermission, finishing the night with six scorers in double figures led by swingman Wesley Matthews’ 25 points on 10-of-14 shooting.
