Playing the bulk of the season without 13-time All-Star Dirk Nowitzki (right Achilles strain) and veteran guard J.J. Barea (left calf strain), the Mavericks (4-15) have valiantly battled through this point in the season. However, the Mavs will now have to also overcome an injury to starting center Andrew Bogut after seeing the 7-footer go down with a right knee injury late in the first quarter during Monday’s 109-101 loss at home to Charlotte. That said, the Mavs will now attempt to overcome their injury situation once again on Wednesday against the Sacramento Kings in the third outing of a four-game homestand.
