So says Dallas Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle.
“They’re a very tough matchup,” Carlisle said. “They’ve been a very tough matchup for us the last several years.
“They play with amazing offensive energy. They have a lot of skilled guys, and their bigs are really active and cause a lot of problems with rebounding rolls and tip-outs.”
The Mavs (7-9) start a two-game home stand on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. CT when they host the Nets at American Airlines Center. While the Nets only have an 8-10 record, they went to Denver and beat the Nuggets earlier this season, and also hold a lopsided 122-97 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers, who are widely considered as one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference.
