DALLAS — After using a spirited practice to ignite their fuses and spark a wire-to-wire 113-99 road victory Tuesday over Washington, the Dallas Mavericks will try to keep their intensity high Saturday night at home while welcoming in the reigning Eastern Conference champions.
Hosting four-time MVP LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Mavericks (2-10) will try to use the lengthy layoff between games to their advantage and come out energetically in front of their hometown fans. The Mavs will also try to carry over what they did well in Tuesday’s win, hoping to lock in at the defensive end of the floor.
