Harris strained his left hamstring on Oct. 17 after playing just six minutes in the Mavs’ season-opener against the Phoenix Suns. Through all of the treatment he’s undergone over the past three weeks, the veteran guard feels now is the time to get back on the floor and test his hamstring in a game.
“The last couple of days I kind of turned the corner and I was able to run a little more comfortably and able to cut,” Harris said. “Obviously the pain’s still there, but that’s something I can deal with.
