Traveling for an early-season matchup against the Magic (5-7) without reserve guards Devin Harris and J.J. Barea, starting point guard Deron Williams and 13-time All-Star Dirk Nowitzki, the Mavericks (2-9) will continue to be down in manpower while trying to bring a four-game skid to an end. The Mavs will also attempt to redeem themselves for a lackluster offensive showing Friday in front of their hometown crowd, falling to an 80-64 defeat after shooting just 28.8 percent from the field as a team. And after just avoiding a franchise record for the lowest-scoring outing in team history of 62 against Milwaukee on November 22, 1997, the Mavericks will attempt to put their injuries aside and rise to the occasion as they venture back out on the road.
