Game 11: Mavs vs. Grizzlies

Prior to undergoing arthroscopic surgery on March 25 to address an injury to his right medial meniscus, Parsons played in 61 games for the Mavericks (2-8) and made 51 starts last season while averaging 13.7 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.8 assists. The previous year he had his season come to an abrupt end as well after Game 1 of the Mavs’ first-round playoff series against Houston, requiring surgery to repair cartilage damage in his right knee after playing in 66 games and averaging 15.7 points, 4.9 rebound and 2.4 assists during the 2014-15 schedule. Now, after migrating to Memphis during free agency to join the division rival Grizzlies (6-5), Parsons will make his much-anticipated return to Dallas with his former team off to a sluggish start.
