Frustrated by Mavs' strategy, O'Neal once almost ripped a TV out of ceiling, but what should NBA do about Hack-a-Shaq?

You can't blame NBA commissioner Adam Silver for wanting to change or get rid of Hack-a-Shaq, the practice of one team intentionally fouling the opponent's worst free throw shooter away from the ball with the hope of creating an empty possession.

It's gimmicky, slows down the game and is not a lot of fun to watch - unless you enjoy terrible free throw shooters shooting terrible-looking free throws. According to ESPN.com Insider Kevin Pelton, intentional fouls on the Clippers' DeAndre Jordan, the Rockets' Dwight Howard and Detroit's Andre Drummond accounted for 262 of the 380 intentional off-the-ball fouls during the 2015-2016 regular season.
