From undrafted to rising star: Dorian Finney-Smith is embracing the opportunity to display his prowess on the court

These are conflicting times for Dorian Finney-Smith.

The undrafted rookie is as competitive as any athlete and hates to be on a team that is 6-18.

That said, he's an undrafted rookie playing an average of 30 minutes per game over the last six, during which the Mavericks have gone 3-3.

"The ultimate goal is to win games," Finney-Smith said. "Winning games is fun. That said, I'm having the time of my life competing at a high level. But it would be a lot better if we were winning. That's all I've been trying to do, win.
