Looks like former Dallas Mavericks’ point guard, Gal Mekel, will put his NBA career on hold for now.
David Pick reports that Mekel, 27, has signed with Serbia’s Crvena Zvezda.

Mekel spent one season with the Mavericks. He averaged 2.4 points and 2.0 assists during the 2013 season. Stuck behind Jose Calderon, Devin Harris, and Shane Larkin, he would appear in only 31 games that season
