In the three days since a sexual assault allegation against Mavericks forward Kristaps Porzingis came to light, a fight to sway the court of public opinion has been waged by both sides -- the accuser's and Porzingis'.
On Monday, that particular battle seemed to sway significantly in Porzingis' favor, when new details emerged about the 13-month period between the alleged Feb. 7, 2018 assault and last Thursday, when the accuser made her allegation to the New York City Police Department.
ESPN obtained copies of texts and emails from the 29-year-old accuser to Porzingis and his team at the time, the Knicks.
