PHOENIX – Kevin Durant scored 31 points and Devin Booker added 21 points in leading the Phoenix Suns to a 114-102 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday night before a sellout crowd of 17,071 at the Footprint Center.
The Mavs are now 1-1 on the season and will host the Utah Jazz on Monday at American Airlines Center, while the Suns improved to 2-1.
The Mavs never could get a firm grip on this game as they looked out of sync too many times, and committed 28 fouls as the Suns converted 28-of-37 free throws.
