One of the biggest and best surprises of the Mavericks season has been the offensive game of Dorian Finney-Smith. Since coming into the league as an undrafted free agent in 2016, Dorian was known as a solid defensive player. Standing 6’8” with a 6’11” wingspan his length and instincts help him stay grounded and disrupt shots and passing lanes.
But the big question surrounding Finney-Smith was what he could bring on offense and if he could develop into the perfect Three & D role player.
In three summer leagues and his first two seasons Dorian’s three point percentage hadn’t shown a ton of promise.
