SACRAMENTO – Luka Doncic showed the Sacramento Kings multiple reasons why they should not have bypassed him in the 2018 NBA Draft.
Doncic collected his 12th triple-double of the season and the Dallas Mavericks held on to defeat the Kings, 127-123, Wednesday night at Golden 1 Center. The victory gave the Mavs a 26-15 record at the midway point of the season and a 2-0 record on this two-game trip road.
The Mavs start the second half of the season on Friday at home against the Portland Trail Blazers.
Doncic finished the night with 25 points, 15 rebounds and a career-high 17 assists as he made the Kings pay dearly for passing him up in the ’18 draft.
