NBA rookies say the darnedest things. For example, most of them think they will be the Rookie of the Year. Heck, Marvin Bagley III even goes so far as to say that he thinks he’ll be the Rookie of the Year AND the MVP. Bagley gives these answers to ESPN in a recent post by Chris Forsberg in which five of this year’s answer five questions. Dallas Mavericks rookie Luka Doncic is one of them. And no, he doesn’t pick himself to win Rookie of the Year.
Even though the Las Vegas odds favor Doncic to be named next season’s top rookie, the 19-year-old Slovenia shows some humility with his selection.
