Dirk Nowitzki told a German magazine that he could retire in 2017 if injuries keep popping up and keeping him off the court.
"If things don't go so well and it hurts everywhere, it could be that 2017 will be the end," Dirk recently told German magazine Sport Bild.
Dirk is on the books for this season and has a player-option for the next and has repeatedly made it known that he really wants to play 20 years in the NBA with one team — which would mean finishing his two-year contract.
