Welcome home Dirk Nowitzki.
With today being opening day of EuroBasket 2015, Dirk Nowitzki took the court for Germany (in Berlin) as they defeated Iceland in their first game. With a German team centered around Dirk, Atlanta Hawks guard Dennis Schroder, and Utah Jazz center Tibor Pleiss, Germany surprisingly had a tougher time than expected.

With a slow start from Dirk, Germany was unable to ever pull away from an inferior Iceland team.
Along with the slow start, we seen an awkward end of a drive for Iceland that resulted in Nowitzki’s knee buckling and falling to the floor.
