Dirk Nowitzki and Deron Williams will miss both ends of the back-to-back that starts Friday night against Memphis, coach Rick Carlisle said after the team's morning workout.
Nowitzki is making progress from a sore right Achilles and Carlisle said that, at this point, there are no plans to shut down Nowitzki long term.
"They'll be out at least two games and then we'll see where they are," Carlisle said.
