Welcome to the club, Dirk.
On Tuesday night against the Los Angeles Lakers, Mavericks power forward Dirk Nowitzki joined Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Karl Malone, Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain as the only players to ever score 30,000 points.
Nowitzki hit a fadeaway jumper with his first basket in the second half to reach 30,000. He scored 18 points in the first quarter, drawing cheers from the American Airlines Center crowd each time he touched the ball.
Even more special, he only becomes the third player to ever do it with one team, having spent all 19 of his NBA seasons with the Dallas Mavericks.
