DALLAS — After being limited by nagging injuries throughout the course of the 2015-16 season, Dallas Mavericks veteran guard Devin Harris hopes his two summer surgeries will lead to a much more productive campaign next year.

Undergoing two procedures performed at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City on May 10, Harris had surgery on his left great toe performed by Dr. Martin O’Malley and another on his left thumb executed by Dr. Michelle Carlson. He also was required to wear a walking boot while his toe healed, stepping out of it last week while continuing to wear a brace to protect his thumb.
