Despite career-high 38 points from Marshall, Mavs fall to Knicks, 128-113

NEW YORK – Karl-Anthony Towns and Josh Hart each registered a triple-double, and the New York Knicks overcame a career-high game from Naji Marshall en route to defeating the Dallas Mavericks, 128-113, on Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden.

The Mavs are now 35-38 with nine games left and will play the Magic in Orlando on Thursday, while the Knicks padded their record to 45-26.

Towns collected 26 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists, and Hart contributed 16 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists as the Knicks outscored the Mavs in the second half, 60-45, and won for the third time in their last five games.
