The Dallas Mavericks will have two representatives at the 2018 NBA Africa game. This is the 2nd year in a row that Dallas has had multiple representatives at the event. For those who don’t know, the NBA has only had two games ever played on the African continent with active NBA players, with the third one scheduled next month.
In last year’s game, Dirk Nowitzki represented Team World as one of the team captains. He gave a speech before the game in which Team World ended up winning 108-97. The other representative from the Mavs was Salah Mejri, representing Team Africa.
