The Dallas Mavericks selected Justin Anderson with the 21st pick of the 2015 NBA draft, but he may not have been their preferred choice.
Tim Cato, Editor of MavsMoneyBall.com reported that the Mavericks were ready to select Delon Wright, but were beat to the punch by the Toronto Raptors, who selected the point guard with the 20th overall selection.
I’m told the Mavericks would have selected Delon Wright at pick No. 21 had he been available. Wright went No. 20 to the Raptors.

Wright, 23, is the younger brother of current NBA player, Dorrell Wright.
