Last week, Sports Illustrated released their top 12 candidates for the prestigious sportsman of the year award. Among them was Dallas-native and golfing sensation, Jordan Spieth.
Spieth put the golfing world on notice with his more than impressive 2015 run where he became the second youngest person ever to win the Masters and the youngest ever to win the U.S. Open. Not only is Spieth and his team happy for his success, but the whole city of Dallas has been vocal about supporting the local star.
Last year, Spieth returned the favor by making his presence known in Dallas for the Dallas Mavericks playoff series against the Houston Rockets.
