The Dallas Mavericks are coming into Friday’s game against the Toronto Raptors on a down note. They had a crushing loss to the Atlanta Hawks in their last game, including whittling away a 26-point lead to lose 111-104 on Wednesday evening.
It is not all bad news for the Mavericks, though. They have two wins in their first four games. Dallas has also played without leading scorer from last year Harrison Barnes and legend Dirk Nowitzki in all four contests. Veteran rotation piece Devin Harris played in only one game because of a hamstring injury.
