Since the Mavericks do not own their first round draft pick due to the Rajon Rondo trade a few winter’s ago, Dallas now focuses on their second round pick and potential un-drafted players they can add to their summer league team.
After planning to work out Indiana guard Yogi Ferrell and Louisiana-Lafeyette’s Shawn Long, Dallas now plans to workout big man standout from Colorado Josh Scott. Scott played all four years at Colorado as he totaled over 120 games in his college career.
Scott had a steady increase in all statistical categories over his college career while finishing his senior season averaging 16 points, 9 rebounds, and almost 2 blocks a game.
