After the trade deadline roster moves that sent out three players and brought back Nerlens Noel, the Mavericks obviously created two open roster spots with the moves.
Instead of following in the same footsteps of previous years in Dallas and using those spots for aging veterans, the Mavericks have chosen to take a different path as continue to look for another diamond in the rough. Another Yogi Ferrell to say the least.
Almost two weeks ago, Dallas used those two spots on two D-League standouts, Quinn Cook and Ben Bentil.
Cook would come into a solid role off the bench where he would average over 15 minutes a game in five games.
