The Dallas Mavericks acquired four players in a Jan. 31 trade with the New York Knicks. Former All-Star Kristaps Porzingis takes the headlines, but the Mavs also acquired Tim Hardaway Jr.
Hardaway Jr. is currently the highest paid player on Mavs roster for next season. He is set to make $18.1 million and has a player option for the 2020-2021 season.
Do not write off THJ’s contributions, though. He averaged 19.1 points per game in his 46 games for the Knicks last season. Hardaway Jr. turned 27 in March and looks ready to provide some scoring punch to the Mavericks next season.
