Although it was the first game action for a team largely put together this summer, the Dallas Mavericks looked good on the court, taking care of business against the Chinese league team, the Beijing Ducks. The Ducks featured no former NBA stars on this night, which helps explain how they were outscored in the 2nd half 64-21.
Dallas had a couple guys that had pretty good games tonight, including Luka Doncic, Dennis Smith Jr. and Maxi Kleber. While two of these guys already have their spots locked in on the final roster, this game will be a good one for Kleber.
