Everyone knew that the Dallas Mavericks summer moves would likely be over as soon as they made the re-signing of their restricted free agents official. Yesterday marked that day as Dallas announced that pen had been put to paper between the Mavs and newly signed forward, Maxi Kleber.
Kleber had a great season for the Mavericks last year, averaging 6.8 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game in 21 minutes of action. He shot the ball fairly well at .453 FG%, .353 3P% and .784 FT%. His role as a glue guy that can contribute on both ends of the court seems to be the best fit for him going forward as well.
