The Dallas Mavericks put down the struggling Nuggets tonight 92-81. After a reasonable offensive showing for both teams through the 1st half, the Mavs found themselves trailing 52-48.
This could have been a bad situation for the Mavericks going into the 2nd half. The 3rd quarter seems to be our nemesis on a regular basis this season and season’s past, but Dallas came out to prove something this game.
A lot of talk about the leadership needing to step up and stop the losing streak that had taken over the last week was dispelled as the Mavs torched the Nuggets right out of the gate in the 2nd half.
