Two years ago, the Dallas Mavericks brought in a full 20 man training camp by filling out the roster with players such as Kyle Collinsworth and Jameel Warney.
Another one of those names was an undrafted forward out of the University of Arizona by the name of Brandon Ashley.
Ashley wouldn’t make the roster that year and would spend time overseas during the 2016-17 season last year. He got his second chance with the Mavericks after coming on board with the Mavericks’ Summer League squad this summer.
In Orlando, Ashley averaged eight points and five rebounds for the Mavericks’ championship squad.
