When the Dallas Mavericks let Seth Curry leave and sign with the Portland Trail Blazers after the 2017-18 season in which he didn’t play, most Mavs fans were pretty upset, feeling like we waited all that time for him to come back from injury just to let him walk away and play for another team. The Mavs reasoning made some sense, but it was still frustrating.
Now, just one season later, Dallas has brought back the sharpshooter, this time on a 4-year deal. Curry had his best statistical season with the Mavs in 2016-17 and Rick Carlisle is hoping to bring that back for several more years going forward.
