The Dallas Mavericks brought back veteran center Salah Mejri this offseason on a one-year deal. Mejri is entering his fourth season with Dallas after playing four professional seasons in Europe.
He is 32 years old but has yet to average more than 12.4 minutes per game in the NBA. Mejri is never going to be more than a role player. He plays stout defense, blocks a shot, and shoots efficiently from the field, though.
The signing came in question for the Mavs after adding DeAndre Jordan. Jordan figures to start at the five and play at least 32 minutes per game.
