Dallas Mavericks: Ryan Broekhoff could be a role player next season

There is a chance that it’s too early to tell, but Ryan Broekhoff has made a serious case for a roster spot over the past few weeks. Since the start of 2019, Broekhoff has been a more utilized player in Rick Carlisle‘s offense for the Dallas Mavericks, averaging 13.2 minutes per game in the 20 games he has played in. He is averaging 5.4 points per game in that stretch.

Now, 13 minutes and 5 points does not really seem like a significant role player in today’s NBA, but Broekhoff’s specialty and hustle make him a very unique role player that would fit well with the rest of the Mavericks roster makeup.
