The Dallas Mavericks signed Michael Kidd-Gilchrist back in February after he was bought out of the remainder of his contract by the Charlotte Hornets. Dallas need a defensive upgrade, and the 6’6 wing delivered by spending key minutes guarding Kawhi Leonard in the playoffs.
Kidd-Gilchrist is an unrestricted free agent this offseason. The Mavs will be looking to upgrade their roster, and replacing the 27-year-old with a better two-way player is one option. It will be interesting to see how that plays out this fall.
Expect plenty of NBA rumors to flying around over the next two weeks.
