Dallas Mavericks pay tribute to Vince Carter during his final game at AAC

The Dallas Mavericks were coming off winning a ring in 2011 when they signed Vince Carter. He was 34 years old at the time and past his prime. Vinsanity joined forces with Dirk Nowitzki, Jason Kidd, Jason Terry, and Shawn Marion to give the Mavs a veteran core capable of contending.

Carter stayed in Dallas for three seasons. The Mavericks made the playoffs twice and lost in the first round both times. It did not stop him from having a massive impact. Carter hit one of the most iconic shots in the franchise’s history.
