The Dallas Mavericks are looking to make up ground in the standings down the stretch. They are fresh off the All-Star break and have a favorable slate of four straight games against below .500 teams to open it up.
It started with Friday’s game against the Orlando Magic. The Mavs traveled to Florida and jumped out to an early lead. They never looked back in picking up the 122-106 victory on Feb. 21. Luka Doncic led the way for Dallas with 33 points and narrowly missed another triple-double.
The Mavericks had an unsung star against the Magic.
