Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic made his presence known from opening night last season. The teenage rookie immediately showed that he should the Mavs lead ball-handler and top scorer. He exceeded all expectations during his rookie season.
Luka averaged 6.0 assists per game. That put him 19th in the NBA. His output improved as the season went on. From Jan. 1 to end of the season, Doncic averaged 6.8 assists a night.
