Dallas Mavericks rookie Luka Doncic took the NBA by storm this season. He was the third overall pick in the 2018 draft, so expectations were high coming in. Luka blew those out of the water, though.
He had 26 points in the second game of the season. Doncic had his first 30-point night seven games into the year. After the Mavs first ten contests, Luka was averaging 20.2 points per and was already the team’s best player. It did not stop as he continued his stellar play all season.
Doncic played 72 games as a rookie.
