The Dallas Mavericks broke out of their funk and earned a much-needed win on Tuesday evening. The Mavs came out hot. They scored 35 points in the first quarter, and that paved the way for a 119-100 victory over the Washington Wizards. Dallas had lost six straight games coming in, and it was arguably the team’s best performance of the season.
The Wizards were led by John Wall who dropped a double-double with 24 points and ten assists. Bradley Beal and Otto Porter Jr. both posted 19 points, but the Mavericks dominated the contest.
