The Dallas Mavericks traveled to Los Angeles to face the Lakers on Friday evening riding a three-game winning streak. The Mavs were playing their best basketball of the season, but like all good things, it came to an end on Nov. 30.
Dallas had a strong start to the game and led 32-22 at the end of the first. They had 26-point second quarter to secure a five-point advantage at the half.
The Mavericks had a second-half collapse, though. They scored just 45 points after halftime to fall to the Lakers 114-103 at Staples Center.
