The Dallas Mavericks took a well-deserved day of rest on Thursday. They are fresh off a dominating 20-point road victory over the Rockets, and the Mavs had to travel to Los Angeles in preparation for their contest against the Lakers on Nov. 30.
Ahead of every game, the Mavericks are required to submit an injury report. The news heading into Friday’s contest was a bit surprising. Both Dennis Smith Jr. (wrist) and Dwight Powell (knee) were listed as questionable despite returning in the Mavs last game. They showed no reason to be placed back on the injury report.
