The Dallas Mavericks fought their way through some stiff competition in this year’s NBA Summer League and came out on the other end with a respectable 3-1 record. Thanks to the tiebreaker determined by those in charge of the summer league, the Mavs found themselves in the top 8 teams along with Boston, Detroit, Minnesota, New Orleans, Brooklyn, Miami and Memphis.
Dallas has already improved from their time in the summer league last year, where they came out as the 9-seed. This team has been completely different with new talent and a new coach and it has been a very entertaining squad.
