Dallas Mavericks free agency grade: Re-sign Willie Cauley-Stein
The Dallas Mavericks had an eventful and hectic offseason. At this time last week, everyone was wondering what GM Donnie Nelson and company had up their sleeves. Could the Mavs grab a third star? Would they add the pieces to jump into title contention? Dallas decided to fill holes to improve this offseason.
They pulled off two separate trades to upgrade their defense and toughness by acquiring Josh Richardson and James Johnson. The Mavericks also drafted three talented young players before signing Wesley Iwundu.
