Dallas Mavericks fans remember Monta Ellis. The guard signed with the Mavs in the summer of 2013. Over the next two seasons, Ellis averaged 19.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 4.9 assists, and 1.8 steals in 35.3 minutes per game for the Mavericks. He led the team in scoring in 2015.
His tenure in Dallas only last two years, though. The Mavs made the playoffs both seasons but were bounced in the first round. Ellis moved on signing a four year deal with the Pacers in the summer of 2015. Indiana waived him using the stretch provision in 2017.
