Dallas Mavericks: Dwight Powell to continue ramping up minutes

The Dallas Mavericks are off to a fantastic start. They have three of their first four including two road tilts against Western Conference foes.

The Mavs got a massive boost on Tuesday. Dwight Powell played in his first contest of the season. The starting center was sidelined for over three weeks with a hamstring injury. Powell missed all five preseason games and the first three of the regular year.

Coach Carlise and the Mavericks started Powell in his first game back. He played 14 first-half minutes before being held out. The Mavs went on to win a 109-106 thriller in Denver over the Nuggets.
