Dallas Mavericks: Dwight Powell sets new career-high with 24 points

The Dallas Mavericks went to Los Angeles for a showdown with the Clippers on Monday night. The game had plenty of storylines. Luka Doncic returned from injury and dropped a triple-double. Dirk Nowitzki started and was honored by Clipper coach Doc Rivers late in the game. The Mavs ultimately lost 121-112 on Feb. 25, but it was an eventful evening.

Lost in all of that was the stellar performance from Dwight Powell. He set a new career-high with 24 points. Powell also produced eight rebounds, four assists, two steals, two 3-pointers made, and two blocks in 37 minutes of action.
