Dallas Mavericks center Dwight Powell continues to prove his doubters wrong. He was the 45th overall pick in 2014 NBA Draft. Powell played less than ten minutes per game in his first season. After three years in the league, his career-high was averaging 17.3 minutes a night.
Something clicked during the 2017-2018 season, though. Powell improved significantly on the offensive end of the floor. His efficiency took a leap and it earned Powell more minutes.
